The calendar says it’s fall but it sure doesn’t feel like it. It’s 75 degrees in Long Beach, CA!

Bask in the sun and join me this Thursday, November 19th from 3P-6P at beachgreens’ Fall Harvest Festival in Long Beach.  The Growing Experience, a 6 acre farm located in North Long Beach, will be hosting the event. I will be demonstrating how to repurpose bathroom tissue rolls into Potty Pots; seed starting pots!

Thanks to the aid of the Los Angeles Community Development Commission and UC Cooperative Extension the Growing Experience has transformed an entire neighborhood. More info here.
